Psychological Associate (Post-Doctoral)

PsychDoc is seeking highly capable, grounded, and clinically sophisticated Psychological Associates who are ready to practice at a high standard within a structured, professional environment.

This is not a generalist role. We are looking for clinicians who are serious about the craft of psychology and committed to long-term professional growth.

Who We Are Hiring

We are hiring:

  • Psychological Associates (or Psychology Associates)
  • Eligible for or already registered with the California Board of Psychology
  • Not yet licensed Psychologists

 

This role is designed for doctoral-level clinicians pursuing full licensure who want strong supervision, meaningful clinical work, and a team that values depth over trends.

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

To be considered, candidates must:

  • Hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or Psychology
    1. Degree must be from an accredited institution – recognized by APPIC or APA
    2. APA-accredited programs strongly preferred
  • Have completed dissertation and officially graduated prior to start date
    1. Candidates with a scheduled defense date may interview
  • Be eligible for registration with the California Board of Psychology
  • Reside in San Diego County
    1. If relocating, you must move to San Diego prior to employment start
    2. No remote or hybrid exceptions
