Psychological Associate (Post-Doctoral)

PsychDoc is seeking highly capable, grounded, and clinically sophisticated Psychological Associates who are ready to practice at a high standard within a structured, professional environment.

This is not a generalist role. We are looking for clinicians who are serious about the craft of psychology and committed to long-term professional growth.

Who We Are Hiring

We are hiring:

Psychological Associates (or Psychology Associates)
Eligible for or already registered with the California Board of Psychology
Not yet licensed Psychologists

This role is designed for doctoral-level clinicians pursuing full licensure who want strong supervision, meaningful clinical work, and a team that values depth over trends.

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

To be considered, candidates must:

Hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or Psychology
1. Degree must be from an accredited institution – recognized by APPIC or APA
2. APA-accredited programs strongly preferred
Have completed dissertation and officially graduated prior to start date
1. Candidates with a scheduled defense date may interview
Be eligible for registration with the California Board of Psychology
Reside in San Diego County
1. If relocating, you must move to San Diego prior to employment start
2. No remote or hybrid exceptions
